With 24 hours remaining until the ball drops in Times Square to usher in the iconic opening of 2024, I find myself reflecting—a stream of consciousness, if you will—on the year that was. What will history say about 2023?

Let me offer a suggestion: “The ‘What the Fuck’ Year.”
