Understanding why this subject is of interest to me doesn’t take rocket surgery. One could say it’s near and dear to my heart. You might ask, “Why is it near and dear to your heart?” Perhaps because I see it firsthand, in person, in a fully integrated context, and not as a collection of bromides, slogans, pre-judgments, virtue signals, and excuses, which are unfortunately commonplace around the world.
